for anyone that has tried glucosamine did it genuinely make you not lose any morning height throughout the day?
if so, how long did u take it for before it started to work?

I used it for half a year and it did absolutely nothing.
Complete cope

but how come many ppl anecdotally say that it worked for them? maybe brand matters? i mean what reason would they have to lie about it

Of it’s just anecdotal. However did you receive any documented proof yet?

If you workout hard, you will shrink. There is literally nothing to counter act this.
Your best bet is to stretch and built a strong core.
The first may give you an actual height increase with consistency and time (1-1,5cm at the most).

I bought a stadiometer for this exact reason

I noticed an increase in Mid-day height of about 1cm after 1 week of Glucosamine + Stretching my spine

I got lazy, stopped stretching and now have lost the 1cm gain, still taking glucosamine if the 1cm is a combination of the stretching and glucosamine or just stretching I'm unsure but, I am going to be more consistent with my stretching and continue supplementation with glucosamine as well as MSM and Chondroitin and I'll measure my height morning, mid-day and evening over the next couple weeks/months to see any improvements.

i talked to 2 ppl that said consistent use of glucosamine/msm for 1 month helped them retain morning height not sure the truth to that statement tho. can you tell me which stretches you do/link the specific routine if you follow one? i also need to fix my shit posture sure it can gain me 1-2 cm

Yes i have 22 degree scoliosis and other spinal problems due to slim waist

Yeah of course there will be anecdotal “evidence”. Although these can rarely be verified. It’s totally impossible to keep your total morning height due to gravity- so I’d be wary of such claims.
I documented it:
My morning height was between 180.8cm-181.5cm, depending on the length of sleep.
10 hours gave me half a cm more.

Evening height was always in a range of 179.7 - 178.8, depending on the workload of the day.
That’s exactly, what I measured before taking glucosamine and chrondotrion religiously.
So absolutely no improvements.

After a few years of consistency, you could gain 1cm despite having a seemingly good posture. More if it’s poor.
But that literally takes immense effort for a rather insignificant improvement. Also if you don’t maintain, results will vanish.

I do not follow any stretching routine atm.
I have scoliosis and loose 3-4cm anyways. At 26 there is nothing you can do, it likely slowly continues to progress even.

There is plenty of info in this forum about stretching, as someone already stated.
