Does going to sleep late between 3-6 am bad for height?

I think your body creates the most melatonin at like 12 am - 2 am or smth like that, so you're missing on prime sleep quality if i remember correctly

Duration of the sleep is more important but having a circadian rhythm is still pretty crucial I’d say

Your sleep quality is probably pretty shit especially if the time you’re sleeping is so varied
No my sleep is pretty good because I sleep more than enough even since I still have holidays. But at school days I go to sleep at 23:00 and wake up at 6:30 am

Growth and repair processes are more efficient during the biological night. Release of GH, cortisol, and melatonin are all quite closely linked to the circadian rhythm

i more meant the time you sleep at during the day doesnt matter as long as its the same daily,the jews really pick and chose which is not natural but okay to do and which actually affects your health

I’d argue that by misaligning your circadian rhythm like that, you’re just reducing the amount of melatonin you can naturally produce to get a good, quality sleep anyway. That’s besides the increased likelihood of disruptions

Yes the growth hormone is mostly released in earlier hours I believe the most is at 10PM and even more when asleep

Without proper sleep (and genetics) you will significantly reduce your potential adult height

if it’s consistent then it’s not bad, supplement melatonin 15 minutes under the tongue or 30 minutes swallowed before bed and you’re good. also i know it’s anecdotal but my two stepbrothers are 6’4.5 and 6’6.5 and they slept like shit playing video games all night from ages 14-17 and they’re tall as fuck

im 17 and have gotten like 5 hours of sleep every day for the past 3 years and am 6'1 its all about genetics bro :p
