That shit is controversial

Jew studies say no

But we have pattern where people who worked out during teenage years are shorter than other family members, my uncle didn’t even heightmog my mum while having same genetics.

Gym fucks up those sensitive growth plates and stunt if not in a good form

What are your takes?
Im not gymcel btw :feelsautistic:

Are men short because they hit the gym, or are they hitting the gym to try and compensate for already being short?

It won't stunt your growth, but if you injure yourself... yeah?

Men who go to the gym are often shorter because they're compensating for being short, not the other way around.

No, the gym doesn't stunt your growth if you're training with good form. Look at all the bodybuilders who are over 6ft and started training in their early-late teens.

The gym could probably make you grow taller since one of the products of hypertrophy is increased testosterone and HGH

I'm not short tho I started going to the gym because I was skinny fat

Yeah that's fine to. I was just addressing the common idea that because you often see short guys in the gym, then it must mean the gym makes you short.

Just lift, avoid powerlifting styles of training for now, but you can do bodybuilding style of training just fine, as long as you do it sensibly and don't injure yourself.

It doesnt stunt growth it can do the opposite, it depends how you train. High intensity, and strength training increase hgh

i always lifted heavy, i benched 100kg with 15 and can do about 130kg now
