A bit of context is i'm a younger person and i had to get braces and they retracted my teeth back because i had overcrowding they took four teeth out and from what i hear is that this causes midface/maxillary recession i've noticed slight nasolabial folds and now im worried im not necessarily ugly im maybe Hltn. Also a key factor is i'm not fat im really skinny so does having nasolabial folds mean its over, and can i fix it. I have decent mandibular growth for my age but when i look at myself from the side i see it's over pretty much and whenever i see this i wanna rope. Please help.

yes

and also bad nasolabial fat insertions, so weightloss can help if you've had them to any degree since you were a kid

so is rope the answer?
nah

my nasolabial folds were 10x worse at 15 than they are at 20. weight loss, PRF injections, and peptides seemed to be the answer. i still got them but they keep getting better as i drop cheek fat, though i wanna try pdo threads once i lose enough fat.

Nasolabial folds are normal, even babies have them. So it’s not that they just started appearing. They were always there.

It’s probably a facial fat issue rather than a recession thing.

If recession was the reason for nasolabial folds then Matt Bomer and Jon Erik Hexum wouldnt have slight folds

Usually people that are underweight experience nasolabial folds. You also stated that you are entering puberty in a later message. Your facial fat distribution, zygomatic arches and your midface height/width projection will continue changing throughout puberty, if you notice no results after puberty I would consult an orthodontist or a maxillofacial specialist

I appreciate that my bone structure isn't the worst i just had noticed people saying it meant recession and i got worried but they must have been larps

so during puberty it could be related to fat distribution instead of a bone structure issue? i seem to have a lot of fat in specific parts of my cheek like in the middle which causes lines below my eyes and vertically
