Are the effects of dollar inflation immediate in other countries? I know that in the US inflation affects everything almost instantly.

Is there a delay in other countries or does it cheapen right away in every place? Is the effect slower in other countries?

I have some dollar cash and I want to know

Gold can be a decent inflation hedge.

If you‘re looking into currencies the swiss franc is relatively stable.

I only put the flag to piss off Russiancels.

I know what to invest in, I was just wondering about how dollar inflation works outside of the USA. People heavily rely on US dollar here especially when buying real estate.

Everything is getting more expensive here, no matter what happens. If the dollar rises, its price increase. If it falls, it still increases to compensate for the fall. Gas, electricity, food, services, etc., then quickly become more expensive to make up for the dollar fluctuations.

It seems that this war affected everyone in the world. Where I live the inflation of the local currency is the highest in 3 years.

Oh yeah, because the economies of every other country in the world are totally the same as the US. . Listen up, economycel, the effects of inflation can vary depending on a variety of factors, like the country's monetary policy, economic growth rate, and trade balance. But hey, it never began once you start asking these kinds of basic questions.

Maybe try picking up an economy textbook instead of just caging on org all day like a ret*rd

I think you may have understood the question differently. What I mean is that when US dollar inflation affected americans as soon as it hit, in my country (just from observation) it took weeks and months for the dollar to fall (not in comparison to the local currency, I mean even when people pay for property in US dollars).

Am I just imagining things or is there a delay?

It depends in the country policy towards it

The country has no specific policies about the dollar. The dollar is just cheaper or more expensive. I am just trying to figure out how fast inflation affects the dollar outside the USA.

i didnt said that. Depend on the policy the country will take knowing the inflation is going up. There are several reasons for inflation going up and government can control if he wants.
