This was 50mg Lyco + 24mg Astax. I don't think Astax does much for colouring, at least it doesn't on it's own.

It seems fake to achive that big of change with sups only, he looks like he used a self tanner jfl+he said he also uses cialis which helps with red undertones! At least for me it doesn't work that well, I tried 24mg astaxanthin+50mg lycopene+75 000IU beta carotene for 3months+ and my skin was like 1% a little more pink in cheeks, it was quite the same

It's possible.

Must be taken with food for it to work since they are fat soluble.

Yeah astax doesn't impact pigment directly very much imo, but its a good complementary carotenoid, its anti inflammatory properties will make the pigment from lyco more even/less blotchy. But to answer OP's question, YES it changes the lips: the outermost layer of the lips is the stratum corneum, and this is where carotenoids primarily build up. Also, the skin of the lips are semi transparent, so the colour of what is inside the lips will show on the outside (think of when you get hit in the lips, they go red bc full of blood underneath). Carotenoids will also build up in the fat tissue in the lips, so you'll get pigment changes from two layers. So with your skin type, your lips will turn a more pink/orange, orangey red (healthy colour). Astaxanthin also help with blood flow to the skin so in the cold they won't go as blue/pale.

Oh yeah and as @chadisbeingmade just said, make sure they're taken with a fat containing meal.

I never took it without food, I always take supplements after eating! I know some people saw good results, but in my my case it didn't do much, the only thing I remarked was that my poop was red and I freaked out, but then I remembered I am taking lycopene:lul:

could you elaborate on what you mean by "taken with food/fat containing meal"? like right after or simultaneously, and what would be a good choice?
