Does minoxidil really ruin collagen?

I heard it ruins collagen, now I dont put minoxidil for hair loss or any kind of that stuff, I want to put it on my face for the stash and beard, I wanna give it a try out and see how id look (im 19 hitting 20 end of September) or do I just wait out and as I get older I'll grow it out?

No. That is a myth because in some lab studies (in vitro on cells) have shown minoxidil can influence collagen metabolism it might reduce collagen crosslinking or affect fibroblast activity in certain conditions.But those studies are not the same as what happens on actual human skin with the small doses in topical formula so you will be fine
