If my maxilla was recessed my front teeth and bottom teeth would touch right? My front teeth slightly over jet my bottom which I think is good.

You have a more narrow maxilla then your dad, probably the reason why your lips appear more narrow. You can see it on the dark corners. Be happy you have good face despite of it, it might be that the palate have a different shape like cavills palate so the dark corners appears even tho palate itself is not that narrow
