I've went to 3 orthos, two have mentioned my palate is narrow, one has not. I have pretty straight teeth and a pretty good smile (girls have complimented my smile)

I've asked each of them if I got a palate expander would it widen my lower-third or affect me aesthetically. All of them said there would barley be any changes, and the only benefit I would get is a wider smile/arch.

One of the ortho's offered to do a TAD-RPE expansion that works for adults, but like I said, he said it would not widen my jaw and my head shape would likely remain the same.

However, I don't know if the orthos are saying that. Would there be any benefit to getting the palate expander aesthetically (besides my smile?)

Your maxilla can be narrower than your mandible, it's called a transverse deficiency

If you expand just the maxilla, there is no mechanism by which your mandible will just grow to match it. You will end up with a discrepancy

Even Osteomatys only can widen jaw, and especially change shape, surgery includes implants which makes everything even more possible.
