I mean if you had bad posture all throughout your developing years would you be shorter than intended

your spine would be bent but if you just do posture exercises it would back to be normal... practically speaking, if you sit like a jew all day long your spine would "Appear" shorter but if you do some posture correction exercises, it would just decompress aand you would be back to normal... bad posture only differentiates the "appearance" of being tall but doesnt biologically affect spine growth. hope it helps.

Not how it works you fucking IMBECILIC MORON. Retards have the worst ways of thinking ever. No seriously, i would love to see you take an IQ test.

If you have shit genetics then OBVIOUSLY sitting straight isn’t gonna ascend you to 6 ft you fucking donkey. But let’s say you’re 5’10 and you’re destined to be 6’0, having shit posture might get in the way of it and you’d end up maybe not hitting the 6’0 mark.

biologically, there are 1000+ genes responsible for height [ scientific evidence ] how do you estimate your genetic potential... "trust me bro" science doesnt works... provide a scientific study kiddo... being toxic doesnt means you're right. keep your bro science to yourself.

Neither of you provided evidence

Posture doesn’t affect your actual height either way. Just your perceived height. Keeping good posture during puberty will make you look taller, but won’t actually change the length of your spine

I think the only role posture makes is in reaching your perceived height potential.

Of which you can fix at any time.

there is no study proving that height growth is stunted by bad posture... dont trust the articles try to look for scientific research papers.

In theory it should. As bad posture restricts blood flow. Meaning less nutrients getting uses up by the bloodstream.

thats what i am saying it only changes how tall you "appear" not how tall you actually are.

I used to have horrible nerd neck which was a looksmin on its own. Always thought I was 5'10.5 because of it.

Fixed it through chin tucks and other exercises. Instantly saw a difference in my perceived height and I was measured 5'11 barefoot.

also why people bark a lot about "genetic potential" there are over 1000+ genes and a lot yet to be identified responsible for determining one's height as it is a polygenic trait, there is literally no possible way to determine someone's genetic potential... also if you are below 5'8 and trying to cope by getting a good diet , HIIT , posture correction etc its already over for you...

blood clots would develop only if the person is not even moving an inch...

Mom is 5'1, dad is 5'6. I ended up 5'11. I could have very well been a manlet, thankful that I at least made it to normie height.

Most likely gotten lucky genes from a distant relative.

@ey88 why would we gatekeep man, if there was any softmaxx to increase height then we would have told you... there is nothing you can do about it except LL or insoles... but if you want to chase that "genetic potential" which you dont even know if you have surpassed, would just result in you wasting your time, energy, youth and sometimes money which could go in better places...

But I’ve also noticed a lot of tall people have horrendous postures and forward necks. I think they can get more hidden height gains than manlets

So nothing stunts growth according to you because “muh 1000 genes” you absolute fucking moron :lul:.

Sleep is when most of your growth hormone is released, are you telling me that if i stayed up ALL night and slept for 2 hours and did the same thing every single day for 5 years during my puberty, i would not stunt any growth at all…? What about breast milk as a baby? Proper nutrition? Guess it’s all bullshit and it doesn’t matter according to some moron autist on looksmax.org :lul::lul:

all researches have been done by scientists, if you want to save time just open chatgpt and to your prompt, use keywords like "biologically" "scientific evidence" "research papers" etc else it would also retrace info from "Trust Me Bro" articles which are funded by these scamster companies...

They can. I have a 6'5 friend who has horrendous posture. I wouldn't be surprised if he cleared 2metres if he fixed his posture. However the taller you are. The harder it becomes fixing the posture

Doesn’t matter. If you’re saying “there’s 1000 genes responsible for growth you cant do anything to stunt it!” Then i guess sleeping and eating correctly goes out the fucking window.

no, its ok but he meant that if you sit 24/7 at one single spot and not even move by a cm then that will restrict bloodflow over time... but if you saying that the posture = height theory is fake and cope, i agree with you.

your spine can develop anormally but this can be fixed at any age so if you had bad posture growing up you can fix it as a full aduılt and reach ur full spine lenght
