IQ measures your effective learning rate. Doesn't guarantee that you'll be academically successful.
Plenty of intelligent guys at my high school who dicked around and did badly.

nah most of the "smart" people in my grade usually just have rich parents who can afford tutors and have a little more work ethic than average
