Most of my life I’ve slept on my right side and that cheekbone is way less prominent and high set compared to my left side. But also my masseter is bigger on my right side so could it be that instead ??

you need to sleep on your back for symmetric cheekbone protrusion and proper spinal alignment. recommend not using a pillow in order to have proper neck posture
never have I heard about cheekbones getting squished by sleeping
