Does smoking carts/dispos descend you?

I've been smoking almost everyday for like a year but haven't rlly noticed a difference in my looks, mostly because I ascended while still smoking. The only thing I've notice is it making me to lazy to go to the gym or me eating like shit cs I'm high. Other than those things does ts actually affect me?
