The most important things for implants are

1) the design/shape of the implant
2) placement
3) Safety

Can you just work with a consultant/3d artist to get a custom implant shape, determine exactly where/how you want it placed, then find a surgeon and say "take this implant and put it right here"?

What makes Eppley better than others?

You really going to ask this?

Nerve damage problems if put in incorrectly

How it's fixated some surgeons use screws some don't.

Muscle problems i.e. putting a chin implant via the mouth cutting through that chin muscle how it's done is important.

How the wound is sutured up.

How the surgeon reacts to infection.

If the implant is even placed properly.

Loads of reason. Anyway Eppley is a meme there's countless surgeons who can do just a good job as him he will just sell you some shit silicone wrap around.

not many surgeons offer custom fabricated implants that I am aware of; plenty of surgeons will offer off-the-shelf implants as an option but those aren’t going to be custom fitted to your anatomy so the aesthetic outcome is much more limited and risky.
