Does thumb pulling and intra oral zygo pushing actually work?

Theory:
I feel like in theory this could work if you actually did it often enough and for a long enough time, lots of people compare it to MSE and say “it won’t work because it’s not a constant force” however even MSE which I’ve talked to my sister (who had it) about she said that it made her mouth hurt when she twisted it for like an hour but then it felt like her face was adjusted and it wouldn’t Constantly feel tense.

Plan (6 months):
I plan to try intra oral zygo pushing for about 10 minutes a day.
Same with thumb pulling however for the upper pallet I plan to not use my thumbs and rather use a pair of pliers padded with cotton so that I don’t have to hurt my thumbs constantly and I will split it up into a minute and a half every hour throughout 7 hours a day for about 6 months.
Even if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t hurt to try.
I will also be using mouth tape at night and a nasal strip, this I plan to continue for another 6 months to habituate myself to nasal breathing while asleep, people say this doesn’t work but ppl also don’t stick to shit and ofc it’s not gonna work in a month, so how about a year? Also even if it doesn’t do shit for my face (which logically it should help) there are plenty of other positive effects on nasal over oral breathing like increased oxygen carrying capacity and wtv else
