Does Tretenion thin the skin over time?

I have been on it for 4 months and use it daily ( 0.05% gel and 0.025 % cream ) and notice my skin getting more tighter but i don’t necessarily think it made my skin thinner . I apply it all over except the under eye . Will it have an effect on nose to in terms of thinning the nose skin and there are studies and reports of it affecting cartilage to

Ruins fat pads and can make eye more hollow giving it more hollow look

tret thins the outer layer of your skin (forgot what it's called) but thickens your skin overall

Thin skin ( positives) More angularity , more definition)

Thin skin (negatives) Faster aging

Thick skin ( postives ) You age better

Thick skin ( negatives ) Less angularity , tend to have more of a “bloated” look
