I want to fix my tear trough. Acc to my research, implants don't look as natural and fat grafts just get absorbed which would be a waste of money. Fillers seem like a cheap way to see how much fixing the underyes will ascend me.

I'm jus high inhib about the fillers transfering to cheeks and shiet.

@Orc you have undereye fillers amirite

how much would cost be for that?

I think @NZb6Air said somewhere between 30% to 80% of fat stays and is permanent

Go for fat graft and if unsatisfied do another treatment
Is expensive but permanent, low risk of complications and very natural looking

Probably costs around 500 euros per eye, havent done research on the clinics here yet. There's one nearby, might just drop in next week yk.

Costs 5-10x more than filers. Fillers would be a good way to see what face looks like after fixing the tear trough, then get fat transfer after the first fillers dissolve.

no, I will never have under-eye hollowing, no one in my family has it.
mirin, what are your thoughs on undereye fillers

Orbital Vector, best way to know is to get a scan
But I would say that most of my research has led me to believe that a good eye area is heavily dependent on soft tissue than bone

If you are even moderately (or mildly) recessed, you don't really need infras. Get a fat transfer

but wont infras also raise the lower eyelid? like what a lower eyelid reduction does but to a lesser degree. so wouldnt infras ascend one more?

Fat graft also raises the lower eyelid
Iirc even those who are suffering from sclera show need to get retraction done with infras to help sclera show caused by significant drooping

I can be wrong on that though. I'm pretty sure that's how Taban operates so I would think Infras have minimal impact
Infras would help soft tissue stay on the orbital rim, so be less affected by sagging and eventual loss of fat in the undereyes
But most people's fat distribution prevents them from having soft tissue there not because of infra recession but because they genetically didn't have much to begin with

In which case fat grafts mog when you are relatively low bodyfat. I'll be getting mine when I'm hopefully around 15%

if you get fat grafts at 15% and then unintentionally loose additional weight, would it be possible for the fat grafts to be lost?

So the fat cells would not go anywhere. But the size of the fat cells might decrease depending on where your body decides to lose fat volume/mass
Reason I say 15% is because if I want to be 20% later in my life, I don't want to have giga puffy undereyes, if the size of my fat cells increases
So I would not be getting them at some absurdly low body fat such as 10%

Although maybe you can get away with injecting less fat cells, as the fat cells volume would increase proportionally the higher body fat you are...

This theory is bro-science, but the fact about volume size of cells decreasing (generally) at lower bodyfat is true. @SteveRogers @Orc might know

@Lorsss knows more than me but he's inactive
