Doing this has prevented new acne flares in my case. All I did was not eat any food I am allergic or sensitive to. I have experimented a lot and saw pretty consistent results. Even the skincare could not prevent your acne flare if you are meant to get acnes from inside. I am allergic to certain foods like noodles, pasta, ramen, and all the other spicy junk food. They made my stomach go feeling unwell and also inflammation in my throat areas. Basically, the foods made me sick which is why the inflammation also appeared on my face. All you have to do is find out(hard) what food item made you bloating and inflammation like symptoms. Other symptoms are bad breath, canker sores, tonsillitis, and uvulitis.
However, not everyone has acne for the same reason. For severe acnes, they should be treated with accutane and tretinoin. There are people who actually should do clean non allergic diet plus the skincare for the first few months. For longterm results, address the cause. Even if you use isotretinoin or retinoid and derivatives, you might still get acne whenever you come in contact with allergenic foods. This also explains why dairy gives acne to many people because they are allergic or intolerant to it.
Not to mention vitamin A and zinc rich foods, and meat can help. Still I am not sure about probiotics, I have not seen any explicit results from using probiotics rich foods. If the probiotics reduced inflammation for you, then it would certainly be great.
