I just realized this. 
For all you who are not familiar with this groundbreaking book, The Fourth Turning informs us that civilizations in the west reach a period of crisis every 80 years, which ends with a great war and a 'reset' (or "First Turning").
Prior to the climax of every Fourth Turning, an elder prophet, or "Gray Champion", appears to guide the people through this season of darkness, adversity, and peril.
We are going through a Fourth Turning now, and the arrival of president Trump signals that its climax is near.
The author of the Fourth Turning, Neil Howe, writes that a āGray Championā is "the climactic leader who ultimately rebuilds civic trust and instills confidence among the electorate". Previous āgray championsā include President Abraham Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
