Your scars need to be completely healed. I'm talking 6-12+ months after the acne healed. Only then you should dermaroll. If you actually go to a dermatologist, they can tell you if dermarolling is right for you or not.

I stopped dermarolling 2 weeks ago and don’t miss it. Although I never scarred my face.
Does it actually do anything for eyebrows? Its the only reason I would consider buying one.

Doesn’t hurt to try I never dermarolled my eyebrows personally

the scarring is pretty superficial so i hope it goes away in a month but ffs dermarollers shouldnt be promoted as much as they are, the collagen benefits are also a scam

it speeds up aging as the collagen healing response gets weaker over time
and the collagen thats made turns into scar tissue that never goes away and will eventually start to sag skin

if this fact is true, I need to remove all mentions to dermarolling in the looksmax archive

There is shit dermaroller that is made out of a metal plate that is cut like shit and then there's dermarollers that are legit and made from actual needles.

If your derma roller looks like shark teeth instead of a needle, it's gonna fuck up your skin because it's not puncturing it but ripping it.

You should have done a test patch first. Microneedling sometimes scars black people.

What mm did you use?

Link to proof?

i paid more for one with actual needles and it still fucked me up but those fake dermarollers are the worst thing you could do to your skin
.

i think its only worth doing like once every 3 months max and by professionals i definitely learned my lesson

IIRC, that website is just trying to sell alternatives to microneedling. That’s the only article on that I can find and it has no sources.

I actually enjoyed microneedling while I was doing it, quitting was a personal choice.

Makes sense to me ngl but it stimulates hair follicle repair does it not, without that stimulation the hair follicles would just die.

i did do a test patch on my forehead and was pretty happy as it seemed that wrinkles were fading but when i used it on my cheeks and under eye area was when my skin got fucked

even so i searched around and the negative effects of microneedling are no joke, even subreddits like Skin care addiction dont recommend microneedling at all

it does work for hair as it made my eyebrows slightly thicker i think what happens is that as your skin is healing there is a good amount of blood flow to the where you are micro needling so the hair grows better like how minoxidil works
BRO'S I STILL NEED YOUR HELP

Implications from such studies can almost never be applied to everyday life. Absolute risk is all that matters at the end, doing something that raises relative risk by 700% is negligible when your absolute risk went from 0.00005% to 0.00035%

Lol. Srs though be careful w/ microneedling. Don't over look it though. It's clearing my acne scars.
