If you want to do programming. By the time you get your degree, or shortly after, there will be a GPT model that can code at senior level, so you're never going to find a job.

If you want to work with computers, study math or engineering. Those will be automized later than coding.

For a more foolproof line of work it's probably law though. They make up a pretty hermetic and tight-knit society well-connected with politics in most countries, so even when machines are capable of replacing them, govt will probably protect them from it
