Doordashing is a good job but you shouldnt work there

Doordashing is a pretty chill and easy job it has some pros like say u need a snack or some shit u can deliver shit to a nigga and make like 10 bucks. However i do not recommend it as a actual job or source of income

lets break down how much i make:
40-100$ a day ($100 if i basically just work from like evening till night non stop)
-$20 cause ull have to get gas
- so at the end of the day after doing like 20 deliveries your going to make like 20-80$ profit

But lets be real ur fat as shit so u also stopped and picked up happy meal now u gon be like 10-70$ profit after a day of delivering

Another thing people dont factor in is the wear and tear of your car. Driving for hundreds of miles each day is extremely bad for your car so you will have to get frequent repairs. This week alone i had to pay $300 in repairs to my tires and engine so this week ive actually made negative money from doordash (although next few months ill be fine).

All this just so u can avoid flipping burgers and handing out fries at five guys.

Definitely not worth it. Again if u just want a cool little $20 for fortnite skin lt sum shit go ahead but otherwise dont do it.

Also in case u thought it didnt get any worse it gets worse. They advertise themselves as “being able to pick ur own hours” which is completely false. You have to schedule ahead like a few hours and pick very tight schedules and they only let u drive for like 30 mins - 1 hour since theres a huge saturation of niggas like u trying to afford iphone 16 and fresh jays. So even if u tried to turn it into a full time job u cant. They completely removed the top dasher feature and replaced it with some shitty gold and platinum feature meaning u can only have “higher chances of dash now” there is no dash anytime feature so its either work with their schedule or death

Also it gets worse. If ur new to doordash their try their hardest to finnesse the shit out of you. You dont even get paid high until your 50th delivery basically. Before then their going to make u drive 10 miles for $3.25 Which ull then use to fuel up ur car again and maybe grab u a mini snickers. U tried big size but tax made it go from 1.99 to 2.50 and ur mainly focusing on gas anyways so u put that shit back

But even after ur fiftieth delivery dont think its sunshine and rainbows cause what theyll do is theyll pretend its high paying offer when in reality all their doing is combining 2 orders into one now u have to pick up from 2 places.

However occasionaly ull get a $10 offer for 2 miles or some shit

Good luck even managing to work 5 hours a day. It limits u on how long u can drive. Unless u schedule ahead u wont even be able to get 2 hours unless u do it at midnight when nobody is doordashing in ur area.
Also it just depends on a coinflip basicaly u can get a order for like$14 and 8 miles and then u can get a order for like 3.50 for like 2 miles. Low paying orders are a complete waste of time ur better off driving far.

I grinded extremely hard this one day like i tired myself out completely and made $100.

Actually it was like $130 but 30 went to gas. On a good day if u drive for 5+ hours u can get $100 but it isnt as easy as it sounds especially since winter is approaching. Doordashing is a cool summer side gig
