If I pull my philtrum forward and jutt my mandible my eye area, nose and jawline ascend so fucking hard. Isn’t a recessed jaw the root of all evil though? Basically every issue on my face (hollow under eyes, slightly downturned nose, long and thin face, flat midface) can be tied to having a recessed maxilla. Won’t processing my maxilla basically fix all of those issues.

I probably have raped infras so will get OBO or implants if I do go through with surgery but even besides that a bimax w/ ccw rotation will fix every failo. surely 1.5 psl absolute minimum.

JFL if you think premolar extractions made you recessed, you were always recessed the maxilla bone can only be changed via osteotomy. The only change is soft tissue support in lips and cheeks due to the alveolar ridge being retracted.

Yeah obviously I was already recessed otherwise I wouldn't have had the malocclusions in the first place. My point is that my ortho could've expanded my palette and brought the jaw forward, fixing everything, instead of just ripping teeth out and recessing me further.
