when i was last on forum, user called Dr. Bruh (who was high iq i think) was looking into clenching and said it works and said it increases ramus length, massater size and makes gonians more outwards (he clamed every male has outward gonians)
is this true?

Listen, I have been permaclenching from stress for the past decade since I was maybe 13, and it probably didnt make difference, what you want to do is chew gum thats probably better approach, my jaw is good but it was always good genetically not because of this

I might try towelpulling, which involves clenching on a towel and pulling the towel forward.

if u got good jaw and been clenching since 13 could be safe assumption to say that clenching played a good/decent part in giving u a good jaw, no? many people descend as they go through puberty due to worse habits i think.

To do towelpulling you have to clench as well, get it?

I’m doing this to save wisdom teeth.

Yeah, I suppose but I don't have a twin to compare myself to unfortunately
I suppose if i turned out alright you can safely force yourself to clench but it might be rather uncomfortable when chewing gum and posture exists

yeah but not long enough to give any benefit for jaw
Not good for teeth to clench for hours, anyway. I’ve tried that and it gave tooth pain.

true, but constant pressure on the jaw wouldve helped im sure ur better off now cos u clenched than if u didnt ( i guess we will never know)

i do also think tho clenching may limit chances of getting tmj since your not constantly moving jaw and your applying even pressure all over

grinding teeth is bad and will wear down your teeth. but putting them ontop without moving shouldnt cause harm

have you tried clenching. are these claims legit?
I tried retainer clenching a while ago, but because of my occlusion, I stopped, too much of the force was distributed on my incisors due to my deep bite. If I continued I would have damaged my teeth no doubt potentially losing them.

Most people dont have this issue though

You have a mogger jaw, but it's mainly due to it being forward grown. If you chew to get a wider jaw, but you still have a flat face, then it will just make you look like Steve from Minecraft.

He wasn't high IQ at all. Clenching will not really do anything to you at your age, teeth in contact is a legitimate theory but only in children and early pubescents

bone continues to remodel past those ages no?
so increase in massater size can affect ramus length/height afterwards

bruxism is caused by grinding not clenching
View attachment 2671210

grinding involves moving your teeth back and forth whilst clenched.

clenching is leaving them on top of eachother (no movement)
What happens to muscles which are constantly flexed over a long period of time?

@Debetro is the best user here He's mentally healthy, unlike 99% of this forum who thinks Barrett or Damian Kater are the pinnacle of aesthetics, plus I learned a lot from him.
Dr bruh is retarded

bro this shit doesn't make a difference, I perma clench and grind my teeth every night waking up to a really sore jaw and head cause of malocclusion

And I grew 0 bones 0 muscle, I only grew my musseter and ramus by chewing gums

and you haven’t experienced any gum recession, teeth damage, etc?
