learning on manual

i got my dl when i was 18 y/o back in '22
but its one of the easiest examinations to clear (due to all kinds of corruptions, etc. going on)

back then i used to be shit scared of the fact i might bump into other cars, etc
people here cuss a lot and go to any extent

recently, i started to learn again, but now, i manage to drive across modestly empty roads and nearby streets in my car without assistance
u need to be alert here all the time, especially down the streets, people obey jack shit

one of the main problems i encountered is that, when signals get green after stoppage, i stress out a lot to be able to get the car going but suddenly it stops the moment i release the 1st gear and push the accelerator and people honk and cuss a lot behind me jfl

yesterday, i drove about 20km since it was diwali and roads were empty

i am yet to learn to control in steep angles and traffic tbh

also, u need road understanding in depth tbh
people don't give u the slightest of spaces to go
always in a hurry

I've been driving in peak late evening city traffic on scooter since I was 16

Haven't done it in a car though

Scooter is the easiet to drive, but the most unsafe option tbh, especially in Delhi

Even a Maruti 800 or Death in Indian Roads

Driving here is a survival game, others don't give a shit about you and the moment you lose focus you are done for. The government need's to set up some strict measures against reckless drivers.
