Think of it this way, u get some weight, u place it over your head, u lower it to ur clavicles and then press straight up, simple but yet effective and not only just shoulder gains but clavicle length and density.

dumbell shouder press is literally just sex at the gym ngl

Shoulder presses are good for strength but the real gains for shoulder SIZE is laterial raise from a controlled SLOW machine, even dumbell laterials wont grow your shoulder like a isolated machine that lets you hammer the deltoid fibers directly with zero trap activation, Thats how i took my shoulder width from 18 to 23 inches in 4 years. Thing is i dont think many realize how little people actually are able to get real deltoid size because most settle with a few sets of shoulder laterials and think its enough to grow, shoulders can take a beating. You can train shoulders almost every single day and rest on weekend and be ready to go again. That means shoulders grow the best with HIGH REPS TILL FAILURE and good form.

to give you an idea of what i consider good voulme for shoulders are i do 20 reps for 5 to 6 sets till i cant anymore almost everyday. add 2.5lbs to 5 lbs a week and drop the weight if you cant hit 20 reps for 5 sets then you will have HUGE FUCKING shoulders in no time and look jacked out of out of your mind and stand out from everyone around you.

The thread isnt mainly about hypertrophy, rather the stress that the clavicles are put up to while performing db shoulder press, i believe that masking a narrow frame with shoulder gains is possible but to some extent, but u cant hide under muscles the whole time, since its easily noticeable whenever someone has good clavicles and when someone has really developed shoulders and a bad frame.
I believe u were on trt throughout your whole bodybuilding journey, thats why i dont really mind taking advice from you since u had a huge step ahead others.

Thing is, there's not a lot you can do for your clavicles despite the threads and many advice on here. Clavicle widening is not very likely unless you're growing. So the best one can do for the most part is focus on muscular development, which it will thicken the clavicles over time. I mean bodybuilders who work out for a very long time tend to have thicker wrist bones at the end of it. So yes and no, but a lot of the advice around here is just pure cope. But when it comes to pure width, a lot of that is dependent on puberty in growing stages, which a lot of people are slowly exiting and they're thinking they can somehow just magically widen their clavicles, but at the same time muscular development actually widens the caravicles due to the muscle contraction.

A wide clavicle isn't just bone. It's also a wide scapula, wide ribcage. So if you want to make your clavicles wider, you should try to expand your chest cavity. That is connected to your clavicle bone from the very top of it, and when you expand your chest cavity through deep breathing dumbbell pullovers, which actually do work, You're going to indirectly reposition your clavicles to look wider. Of course, a lot of this is theory, but some of it is based in science at least.

Clavicle bone-winding is not as common as you think and a lot of what people think is whideclavicles is just a big ribcage with wide scapula

There's even clavicle widening surgery in the people who do get it don't look that much different after even after an inch or two of expansion. It's because they didn't widen their scapula and chest cavity to match it so it looks super unimpressive.
