rear delts exploding while doing but no doms afterwards is it normal ?

I just do face pulls or whatever they're called basically with a band over my chest for 100 reps. It's pretty much to failure everytime and sometimes if I'm pre-fatigued then I might only do 50-80 reps.

DB rows are good though. Especially if you put your head against a high bench or something and crank out those reps with mind-muscle connection. You have to get the angle right so as to not let the traps or back muscles take over.
