Dying hair

I’m planning on dying my hair. My hair right now is light brownish and with my pale skin isn’t very good. I plan on fixing my skin coloring and becoming more tan so what would be the ideal color to dye my hair. Most people do jet black but I feel like a dark brown would just go better with my blue eyes and look less uncanny then wit jet black
