A world where free speech is null and every thread that is questionable is removed is not one of safety or order, but one of slow collapse. Right now the sudden state of org urges one to be careful around their moderators, whose jobs are to maintain, guide and keep things civil. Not enforce order and control what we are able to see or say.
Over time, creativity, innovation, and empathy erode, as fellow users begin to self-censor their posts. Such a society mirrors a modern form of slavery—chains rusting around our wrists and ankles. cages replaced by laws—where compliance is enforced not through visible force alone, but through the quiet destruction of autonomy, ultimately leading to stagnation, unrest, and inevitable downfall.
no chains were visible but everyone moved the same way
They clipped our wings then blamed us for never flying
