Early bloomer vs late bloomer

I thought being a late bloomer is better cuz you have more time to grow

But that is not true men who go through puberty earlier are taller and higher T

+ being the grown man in highschool 6’2 mogger of the football field mogs having to wait til senior year to kind of look like a man

If u had a beard in highschool but couldn’t manage to be a jock/popular it’s truly over for you

Could be selection bias like you said, the ones who aren't tall just don't post their height so they don't get made fun of for it

I saw a study that revealed that fat kids went through puberty earlier and faster thsn lean kids but that both groups had the same aversge final height. The curve just looks different as the fat kids have a more intense initial spurt but it stops earlier in comparison to the lean kid's more steady growth. It probably works the same for early and late bloomers

Practically it doesn't since everyone on earth will have the same shrinking effect throughout the day. You will always be the same height relatively to other people no matter when you measure

It is cope for absolute measurements but not for relative height. It will differ 1 inch at most anyway unless you have a medical issue so it's not a big deal
