What is the easiest way to get a sleep apnea test referral and how to test positive for sleep apnea thx

Where are you from? If u are recessed and have a bad bite u can get bimax for free in alot of countries, but not in the US I think.

You go to the sleep doctor first asking for the test then they will either get the Polysomnography test done there at the clinic or at home and then you have to sleep with it for one night. After a week or so usually you would get back a report then you are obliged to bring it to the pneumonolgist for a positive test.

How bad is your symptom? I am in mild-moderate category but subjectively it feels like I am a zombie also it was because of my retruded mandible that's why I am getting a Bimax and molar teeth extraction in a month

I assume Polysomnography test would be the cheapest option? I was told if I was referred I would get insurance benefits if i were to go to a clinic. How do i forge the results btw

I am very recessed and usually short of breath. If I don’t get insurance benefits in the states I will go overseas. I am currently in the process of getting wisdom teeth extracted. I can dm if interested pics

If you live in Western Europe, insurance will pay for your bimax probably. But Idk at what stage they would provide

Will probably be hard to get it insured in the US, don’t know how it works there exactly. But I would just make an appointment with a few orthodontists and tell them ur problems. Consulting an orthodontist is always the first step. Alot of people on this forum just talk about this and that while never even having done one consult.

Already did and was told I’d most likely get little to no insurance

Yeah that's fucked up. Maybe use the search function here to find some ppl that had jaw surgery in the US, or search on r/jawsurgery. Goodluck.
