Not necessarily, my parents immigrated to the USA from Ukraine in the 1990s, and they didn't have shit and lived in communism their whole life. Thats the story of most American/Ukraine youth

I agree though on development, thankfully my parents have good facial genetics but due to their lack of a good diet in ukraine I am 4 inches taller than my dad just because I live in America.
