Caloric deficits won't help you lose weight, in fact, most overweight people who attempt caloric deficits end up gaining twice the amount of weight they lost.
Exercise won't help you lose weight either, when you exercise your body does whatever it can to make your calorie burn rate similar, so it will slow down your metabolism.
The only way to lose weight (At least the only one with a success rate of more than 2%) is by fasting/starvemaxxing. (IF you are Obese)
If you are Obese you are probably Insulin Resistant (because you are essentially diabetic, if you are obese) being Insulin Resistant is what makes losing body fat so hard. It also means your blood sugars are high, so you only burn excess carbs for energy, instead of fat.
When you are fasting, your body is burning body fat instead of carbs, also fasting won't make you hungry because your body adapts to the absence of food. When you are in a caloric deficit you'll feel hungry all the time. You will also inevitably overeat to compensate for the calories you cut off your maintenance.
I was about 250 lbs (6'1) and I was about 170 lbs by the beginning of the fourth month
I started with a 84 hour water fast, then started doing Alternate Day fasting (36/12 fasting, that's when you don't eat for 36 hours but then have a 12 hour long eating window) and in my eating windows I usually ate clean, and avoided all carbs, because carbs spike your blood sugar, and that's what was making me a fat fuck
Stuck to alternate day fasting, until I shed off the rest of the weight.
I did little to no exercise and took no bullshit supplements or drugs like DNP or ozempic.
You WILL lose muscle mass, I did, but you can minimize this by incorporating some exercise in your new lifestyle, or eat enough protein.
What I recommend is to start with Alternate Day fasting (36/12) OR doing a 48 hour fast and then OMAD (one meal a day) for the rest of the week
You can do intermittent fasting but that's essentially OMAD so you still have to do a 48/72 hour fast at least once a week
Normal weight or Slightly overweight people also attempt ADF and report back with great results.
You can also do an 11 day fast to increase your insulin sensitivity and then do ADF or OMAD
Also I would've taken DNP, but I didn't know where I could find it, especially since I am a 3rdworldcel, tried looking for it in the local gyms, and tried looking for dnp vendors but didn't find anything. ADF is the second best option I'd say.
Leanmaxxing is the only thing that will ascend you
