Try on some generic pairs of (sun)glasses that are made to fit the average male head. Glasses that have curved parts on their sides designed to fit comfortably around ears. These curved parts are called mastoid bends.
If the mastoid bend is in front of your ear, your anterior cranium depth is long.
If the mastoid bend is right over your ear, your anterior cranium depth is average.
If the mastoid bend is behind your ear, your anterior cranium depth is short.
This method doesn't account for skull size. It indicates whether your cranial base is long or short in absolute measurements, not relative to your skull overall.
