So, what is nicotine good for?
1) Aromatase inhibitor
Nicotine works as a potent aromatase inhibitor that blocks estrogen by reducing the activity of the enzyme CYP19 which converts androgens into estrogens .This inhibition is dose-dependent, reversible, and has been shown to reduce estrogen production in the brain, particularly in the thalamus and amygdala.
