Your excessive lower jaw (maxillary) growth has pulled your upper jaw (midface) down. The lower jaw usually grows upward and outward, while the upper jaw should grow outward and upward as well; however, in this case, your upper jaw dropped more than it normally does due to either long-term mouth breathing, a poor tongue position, or simply inherited facial structure.

After puberty, there are no longer any growing tissues in the face that will allow for the correction of these problems. Therefore, the only treatment available to you is surgery. A Le Fort I impaction is the required procedure which cuts your upper jaw (maxilla), then moves it back into a normal position and reduces the length of your face. In addition to the Le Fort I impaction, cheek implants can also help improve the appearance of the sagging upper jaw. No other treatments will work on this type of deformity

poor tongue posture, your maxilla goes down cuz it cant stay in an upright position cuz gravity and maxilla falls down which causes mandible to fall down which is a negative feedback loop until youre a sub3 trucel whos airways take in less oxygen than a fountain drink straw

good tongue posture is the only thing that fights against gravity
