Being youthful (along with being rich and good looking) is the most important thing in life. Young adults and teenagers unknowingly waste their youth, while older people try to reclaim any fragments of it. It’s clear to me that youthfulness is the most valuable possession. Youthfulness lets you: wake up early and stay up late, have high energy throughout the day, party all weekend, recover from workouts faster, be more alert and fun, and most importantly, look youthful.
What stops us from being youthful?
Things like fast food, excessive sun exposure, laziness, being surrounded by non-youthful people, neglecting self-care during your prime, avoiding exercise, and not socializing. All of these will only weaken and destroy your youthfulness.

This is what youthfulness looks like:
You only get one youth. Just one. Some of us haven’t experienced it yet. Some of us are living it right now. Some of us have already been through it. If you haven’t experienced it yet, get ready—it should be the best time of your life. If you’re in it now, don’t take it for granted and learn how to make it last as long as possible. If your youth has already passed, find a way to regain that youthful state you miss, whether it’s through TRT, backpacking in Europe, or just pushing yourself to go out even when you don’t feel like it.
For me, life is a fun game. It should be spent enjoying every moment. Living with no regrets (I haven’t had one since coming to this realization over a year ago), staying present, and taking every chance to make memories. One day, we’ll look back on this time and reminisce about all the fun we had.

Youthfulness isn’t just about being with a loved one to create experiences like the pictures I’ve shared. It’s having the ability to work out six times a week without feeling drained. It’s waking up sober after a night of drinking. It’s recovering quickly from a cold or injury. It’s taking risks you can’t afford at 45 or 50, whether they’re physical or financial. It’s living carefree and embracing a life full of fun.

Youthfulness isn’t about buying Retin-A. It’s not staying inside all day, afraid of the sun just to protect your collagen. It’s not isolating yourself at home until you’ve had all your surgeries. I do agree that looking young can make you feel younger, but going to extreme levels of coping to preserve something this valuable is a ridiculous approach.
Some might argue that you can’t be youthful once you reach a certain age. I agree to an extent, but it’s entirely up to you. You’ll start to realize you can’t live 100% youthful forever, and that’s okay. This is what I call “calculated youthfulness”—being able to take on adult responsibilities while still staying youthful and having fun. It’s all about finding your balance.
Being youthful is everything. It impacts everything from your looks to your lifestyle to your mental health. Living a youthful lifestyle is the most important thing, and it’s likely why many of the “older” users here (25+) are trying to regain what they feel they missed out on. You don’t have to recreate these pictures, but doing things that make you feel youthful is what truly matters.
Look around you… the older people who stay youthful are happier. Meanwhile, some users here have the mindset of a 60-year-old while being stuck in a teenager’s body. Look at how depressed and defeated they are.
If the young take it for granted and the elderly wish they could have it back, then youthfulness must be something worth living for.
