How much do jaw implants cost with Dr Eppley?

Don't go to Eppley brah
why not? I was looking at some of his photo galleries and pretty impressed with the results he produces. Who do you suggest though?

Nah it's an independent guy. He works with multiple surgeons (US, Europe, Turkey, SA)

Price depends on the one you choose to do it with
Do you know by chance if he works with Eppley?

Don't think so

Are you new here?
Eppley is kind of a meme

There are way more skilled guys
Like who? Particularly in the US?

I'm not new, I just thought Eppley was the best since he charges between 10k-14k for jaw surgery.

JFL I don't get this site and the retards this dude has almost not verified before and afters but because he roams here and claims to be better than actual surgeons due to working w/ non-US surgeons he's now suddenly better.

As someone who got jaw wraparound with Eppley, and since removed it, do not go to him.

Did you not like the design or you had complications?

No complications, it just made me a more bloated version of my old self. He has no artistic sense in the jaw area, and you won't end up looking anywhere close to the simulation pictures he gives you beforehand.

What's your plan now? Would you consider jaw implants with a different surgeon?

Custom jaw implants are hard to get right.
BTW, did you pay for the removal or he removed it for free?

No, quite frankly, I don't need it. As many here I had body dysmorphia and just wanted to "enhance" my jaw. But after I removed it I'm perfectly happy.

I paid like 2k to remove it in my native country with another surgeon, as I flew from Europe to get the initial implant.

Because I've heard mixed reviews about Eppley, I am curious, when you told him that you don't like the results, how did he react? did he ghost you?

Congrats.

I took a quick look at your history and it seems you've done LL and infra orb implants as well.

At this point do you think you're lookmaxed? What are you looking for from this forum still?

Yep, I'm very happy end of looksmaxing for me.
I'll give Eppley credit where credit is due, he has *amazing* talent for infraorbital implants. He got them just right on me and I'm very happy with those.

Honestly I just browse the surgery part of the forum for fun and chime in wherever I can chime in.

I did yes, I told him respectfully and he answered respectfully as well. He advised to remove the implant. He is a professional, and again, surgical outcomes can never be guaranteed. That's why you have to sign like 3 documents where you accept that fact before getting the procedure.

Interesting. You're the third person I've read of that's had good results from his infraorbital implants.

I have read so many articles of Eppley. This guy has insane amount of knowledge especially around implants. I might visit him in the future tbh for infraorbital rim implants.
I think jaw implants are not worth it in general for many reasons, the blockhead look is ridiculous

My only concern with implants is the bogeyman of erosion. We know it happens with chin implants, and I guess by extension to some degree jaw implants.

What about infraorbital ones? I would hope very little as the movement in that area is minimal.

Not sure if @Realism has any thoughts on that?

Yeah the whole area down there is really tight, especially around the chin, which has the highest chance of bone resorption. I believe that infraorbital rim implants are one of the safest in that regard, there is no much movement there, and the tissues are not that tight as chin for example.

As far as I know, it's of no concern. The masseter and temporalis are big skeletal muscles that cause friction in that area, you only have small facial muscles covering the infraorbital area.
With that being said, a custom jaw wraparound in sillicone is much more gentle than a chin implant. The forces are distributed around the entire jaw, meanwhile with a chin implant it's localized in one area.
