I've had a bad PC my whole life and for the first time I finally got a PC that can actually run games However I've become so addicted to it that I can't pull myself away and I'm really not happy about it I'm too lazy to cook so I order everything for delivery and it’s making my already messy life even worse Can you help me with this What hobbies or activities would you suggest Are there things I can do every day to distance myself from the computer Thanks to everyone who helps :feelsautistic:

a heroin addict will always do heroin until his supply is permanently cut off.. the same applies here. you can’t get rid of a habit until it gets rid of you

kind of basic advice i will give but

sell it once prices rise

if you value playing with them so much then you can try a couple hobbies to fill it in like below

if you work out already then js add more in (for example some gyms have pools, a track to run on or basketball courts

if ur done with school and unemployed then during that time you can try and study/learn random stuff

u can also js try and work on stuff on it

menas made a thread about him making habits in his life earlier today, u can check it and copy some of his stuff and try

You have to replace your addiction by a « healthier » one. Like coding or chess whatever. Bullying people online might work. Best thing is to tell yourself that the jews win if you ruin your life because of addiction. Works right away

As an adult being addicted to video games in 2026 sounds implausible

by getting rid of ur pc lol.. i was addicted to r6 & only got rid of my addiction by throwing away my ps5. haven’t played videogames in over a year

Just play nonstop until you get fatigue

If you’re playing an online game abort immediately tho

I promise you you'll be fine bro. I have tried new things so many times and looked like a tard :lul:. As long as you are humble and motivated people who are really into that thing wont care about you failing, they might even help you out. If anybody does make fun of you they are probably an insecure fag themselves.

But if I sell or throw away the PC, I’ll have nothing left. I don't want to completely cut myself off from it; I just want to distance myself. After all, it is fun when the time is right ı just don't want it to be my only focus

I'm having so much fun because it's the first time I can actually play normal games, but at the same time, I don't like it.

The problem is that you're way too overstimulated and yet you think that boredom is bad for you

just embrace the boredom, make peace with it and maybe think about some stuff, go for a walk, exercise or just go out and wander around tbh
