why do they think its a good idea to have there kids be barely capable of speaking English by the time they reach elementary school and why are they so proud of it? Sure you kid will most likely grow up to be fluent with English by the end of school but it doesn't mean they wont have trouble keeping up with the curriculum during those initial years and possibly face bullying too.

Because most of the ESL'ers don't use english that often. Especially in jewrope.

no this is strictly referring to people who live in English speaking countries, they are so adamant on not speaking English regularly to there under 5 yo children

Same applies. Most of the world is brown. They don't need to learn english to communicate. Quite a few states are majority brown.

they do for school? and even like the states with the highest % of people speaking a non English language its a little less then 50% so your life is going to still be impacted significantly even if you can get around most of it. it would also greatly reduce there opportunities if they only knew the secondary language.
a lot of the time its also a language that is not even commonly spoken in the areas to

They must just be retarded kids, I knew fluent English at age 6 while my parents only spoke Spanish to me and learned to read and write in fluent Spanish at age 8.
