Bro I swear nobody is talking about how socks literally disappear like it’s some kind of coordinated operation. I’m not even joking, I’ve bought the SAME pack three times, same color, same brand, and somehow after two weeks it’s like they just phase out of existence one by one. Not pairs just one sock at a time. Explain that. You can’t. Nobody can.
And don’t say “the washing machine eats them,” that’s what they WANT you to think. If the washing machine was actually eating socks, where are they? Show me the sock graveyard inside the machine. There isn’t one. You open it up, nothing. So where are they going? Exactly.
I started tracking it too. Yeah, I actually paid attention. I had 10 pairs. That’s 20 socks. After a month? 13 socks. Not even usable. Just a pile of mismatched nonsense like some kind of abstract art project. And then people act like I’m the weird one for caring. No, you’re the weird one for just accepting it.
And the worst part is when you finally accept one of the mismatched pairs and start wearing them regularly, suddenly the missing sock just reappears out of nowhere like it’s been watching you this whole time. Oh NOW you show up? After I’ve emotionally moved on?
I’m telling you there’s some kind of delay system. Like socks exist in a different dimension on a timer and they just rotate in and out to mess with you. Because it’s too consistent to be random. It’s ALWAYS one sock. Always.
At this point I’m considering just buying 50 identical black socks so even if half of them vanish I can’t tell. But knowing my luck, those will start disappearing in groups just to escalate things.
