The Eye Separation Ratio is popular in this forum to check if someone has close or wide set eyes, but it is incredibly bad for this purpose.
I have already made another thread explaining why MFR (Midface Ratio) is more important but i'm going to go even further here

The most important thing when considering eye spacing is by far your actual IPD. The ideal range for adult males is 64-67mm, wider ipd can look aesthetic but lower usually can't.
If your ipd is in this range you will need to have an extremely average bizygomatic width to have an "ideal" ratio of 0.46
But this ratio isn't ideal at all because having a bigger skull with a lower ratio is FAR better.
The reason you don't see many models with this, aka large skulls is because you cannot tell skull size in pictures and videos (unless extreme). But if you've ever seen someone with a huge chad skull in real life you will know how important that is. (Models usually have tall but narrow skulls, ex. Chico)
0.46 is often regarded as ideal because it's extremely average. Very few people actually have large wide and tall skulls.
Models who have lower esr's are for example drago and barret
A real life example i can provide is my mom's boyfriend (JFL) who has an absolutely MASSIVE skull, his bizygo is probably around 155mm. Words cannot explain how big of a halo it is, he is balding, has gray hair and has a shitty eye area yet mogs 99% of people. His ipd is 66mm yet he has an es ratio of around 0.42, it doesn't look bad at all since his midface is normal. My cat legit obeys him 10x more than my other family members who knows why
Obviously extreme cases like are bad (charlie kirk)
