Estrogen, not androgens may be the cause of baldness. Thoughts on this claim?

I've seen this topic discussed a few times on here but never with these sources and also idk this has been repeated a good few times (aka tons of times) but people still repeat this claim so I am not 100% sure obviously.

Idk what do you guys think?

Here's my take.

Androgens are still the trigger for androgenetic alopecia but estrogen and inflammation and the tissues in context modulate how bad it gets.

We know that DHT is required for male pattern baldness and men with a 5 alpha reductase deficiency don't go bald.

In women low androgen or damaged hair follicles can respond to acute androgen signaling promoting hair growth. It's very contextual and individual dependent.

TL;DR: OP trusts random blog posts that are written so un-seriously as to include "(gasp!)" within them.

Even worse, the blog poster is saying that DHT may restore hair loss.
Hahahaha I'm caging at how fucking retarded OP is.
