Theres a trope that white kids shout at their parents and swear at them and stuff and so people say that their parents need to be harder on them

Whereas african, arab, asian kids etc, their parents beat them when theyre disobedient, the children give up on trying to oppose their parents/prove them wrong

However i think this is actually an overlooked issue of ethnic parenting which holds them backs socially

The minority children get beaten, and then learn to be submissive to those higher up in a social hierarchy, therefore theyre more likely to be obedient to the system, and in the workplace they are more likely to be submissive to their bosses and become a wage slave, because theyre more submissive, theyre less likely to oppose those they view as higher as themselves socially and thus arent as competitive in the workplace.

Whereas the white kids are less submissive, pose a stronger opposition to authority and are less obedient, this mindset allows them to be more competitive and get to higher up positions in the work place

Op is right. Your teaching your kid at the most impressionable age manners of submission, or fear. Your not setting him up for the real world as much as you think you'd be.

I wont even bother to make my point more valid when its statistically correct. Abused dog syndrome is not something people on the forum made up. Its a true scientifically study. Same with all of the other 1000s of studys that prove without a doubt that abuse, especially physical abuse in childhood does little to no benefit to the child, and often than not causes long term issues.

This is a common mistake people do. Who in the hell told you that you gain manners from getting beat? Common sense would tell you that you gained manners by learning manners. You can never replace teaching your kids properly with beating them.
