In my last thread I was wondering why many leaders in the world right now don't have the best credentials. While I was looking up different countries, I came across something related to China and would like to share my findings.
A lot of people blame the west especially USA saying its a Chad friendly nation and if nerds went somewhere else, things would be much better. I'm here to tell you that sadly might not be the case. At least when it comes to China. I honestly thought they would be nerd friendly but not really.
Now lets use the example above. Left is Xi Jinping, the big boss of China. Right is Li Keqiang, the 2nd in command.
If you were to guess which one is smarter, you would probably say it’s the guy with glasses. And you would be correct. However, that doesn't mean anything.
Xi Jinping had his schooling was interrupted due to the cultural revolution in China. Also his dad went to jail. During the time in the fields, he basically had to do a lot of self-studying at night. He went to uni as a Worker-Peasant-Soldier student (Due to circumstances back then, its not really the same as full time college education). Basically, he went through his share of struggles.
Li Keqiang on the other hand is pretty much a stereotypical nerd. He went to Tsinghua (The top uni in China) by beating everyone else in his province via exam. He would later get a PHD in economics from the same uni and was even awarded a prize. Its pretty safe to say he would be damn smart or at least damn good at studying so his journey was a lot smoother.
People say Li was handpicked to become the next leader of China. However, in the end, Xi got the job.
Now why did that happen? Why did the party snub the nerd? Its hard to say to be honest. But here’s my opinion
1.Xi is simply stronger. He is more cunning and ruthless when dealing with others. He is basically more high T which is important in tough times like right now. There's gonna be a lot of conflict in the future with many countries so they want someone who is loyal but also strong to deal with future opponents. He's supposedly also better at handling people, getting favorable deals donem giving strong images etc. . The other guy is very good with numbers and technical knowledge etc. But this doesn't necessarily translate to statecraft fighting.
2.Appearences. Xi is a northerner. Li is a southerner. Northerners are taller and have bigger frames (Closer to Koreans and Mongolians). When world leaders shake hands with each other, its always a mogging battle. Frankly I don't know how manlet Putin can cope coz he always gets heightmogged.
3. A leader doesn’t need to be a subject matter expert. He is just there to manage. He just needs to be able to delegate the right tasks to the experts. So people skills are far more important. Also how is a PHD who never had to struggle that much supposed to relate to the common people who proabably can't even go to uni? Especially in China which is still a developing nation.
In short, nerds still dabbed on sadly. Strength is still more important in politics. The blackpill isn’t limited to a continent. It’s a human thing. Some will say this is obvious but I frankly didn't know this would even apply to someplace like China until I looked it up.
I'm pretty sure some commies are not gonna be happy at me dissing their government. But I'm just stating some observations for most part. Better than lying to ricecels thinking they can just study their way to the top.
