Is a white polo shirt. The quintessential menswear clothing item that is and has been a staple of every man's wardrobe since like 100 years.
A light colored polo shirt
It's by far one of the most versatile pieces of items a man can have imo it is one of those things that goes with pretty much evrything and can be dressed up and layered over for a semi formal buisness look and worn as is for a casual chill vibes.
Want something that you won't overheat in that is still semi formal and not as uptight as a dress shirt for layering. A polo shirt works amazingly well for this with sports coat. I love wearing this combo in summers with a pastel colored linen blazer
Or you can wear it by itself wolf of wall street style with chino shorts
You can also treat it as an extension of a basic tee and wear them jeans laso
I also like those Ralph Lauren style cable knit polos. Subtle but the detail and texture adds more interest and elegance
They are like a more elevated and stylish option to a basic T shirt. I also like those open Johnny collar type polos
Some of my favourite brands are ralph lauren, Sunspel, Lacoste. If you are on a budget Charles Tyrwhitt and Uniqlo also has some good ones. I'd stick to the classic colored like white, pastel green, blue, very light yellow like ecru.
