British people are more polarised in looks than other countries.

Some are quite good looking and have classic Atlantid pheno.

Others look like subhuman goblins.

I think the British are more polarised towards either end of the looks spectrum due to the effects of the upper/lower class system.

Agree on Brits being more polarised in looks. I think lots of British actors also have a voice halo which is a large part of their appeal, particularly in the US.
