you’re absolutely right. holidays were never meant to be celebrated solo. idk though getting married in 2024 still seems pretty risky especially in the us.

I've actually been watching a new season of a real marriage show in an Eastern European (where we are supposed to still have children, laws are more supportive of young couples, women are more traditional, etc.) country for about a week now, where 8 men and 8 women (in their 20s) live in the same house for 6 months, with the aim of getting to know each other and getting married at the end..

So far it all looks disastrous (the girls look mostly subhumans, or if not, have tattoos with shit like snakes, and generally a very shit personality, very far from the point of the show, which is that they become brides), and the men are either subhuman gymcels, or manlets who still play video games, all unable to speak and express their thoughts and emotions the way girls would want..

The girls so far have just laughed at these guys, and generally seem to have a general state of disgust with them (you can tell they have extremely high standards raised by TikTok/Insta), while guys are desperate enough that they're willing to give chances on chicks who don't look like whales, but have cringe tattoos and so far dumb personalities..

These are the participants (I forgot to say that 2 of the girls, precisely the ones who look relatively better than the others, have already had a child since they were 18-20 years old, and now the child is 5-6 years old..)

So yeah, pretty over all over the planet at this point..
