I have seen only alveolar bone changes but condylar remodeling hasn't taken place been jutting for 6 months now but now my pterygoid muscles which helps in mandibular protraction hurts tbh similar experience? Was jutting in a good bite tbh I think

I have been doing this 24/7 for the past 2 years ,
I have an overbite and need elastics attached to my brace . I started at 15

I am going in soon to actually get the elastics in my brace now that my single displaced tooth has fixed lol , I will let you know if the orthodontist says anything about my over bite being fixed.

Also even with heavy mastic gum incisor chewing and molar chewing I experienced virtually no TMJ,
I had it for a week or two (constant beating in the ear and slightly painful jaw ) so I stopped chewing for a week and it went away . I simply just started chewing again after too.
I can vouch for the TMJ.

no,
The orthodontist will I can always ask (they take measurements and put it on the system) , I feel like my jaw has gonna forward but I’ll have to see, my over bite was about average in severity so I was eligible for braces for free.

A lot of these ‘cope’ methods do work,
Orbicularis training changes your PFH drastically for example .
Also a straight lower lid.
So basically perma squinting.
