I have a degree (marine biology, can’t get a job in that field) yet work a job I could’ve done without even having A-levels

I don’t mind it. It’s low stress. But everyone always says I shouldn’t be working there when they find out I have a degree. But I’m too lazy to search for anything else/properly consider my options, and I don’t want to get a new job just because it requires some qualifications, only for it to be stressful

They always tell me the same thing (CS degree but working in retail). These niggas just think it’s that simple to get a job in your major with this shit job market.

The value of your degree goes down the longer ago u completed it without a “skilled” job after
Not that bachelors degrees are really worth much these days

You can't work at an aquatic exhibit at a zoo or aquarium?
Seems like an easy job

What job are you supposed to be working

What job are you supposed to be working
Idk
One that requires a degree of some sort
People probably wouldn’t say anything if I were doing some office job too

Do office jobs even pay any better
Here in UK, not really
I earn like £26k a year (but hourly wage) outside London. £12.60 an hour, just above minimum wage, 40 hours a week
An office job would probably pay 30k or less at this stage, without muh career advancenent
